Forestview Retreat

When our clients reached out to us, they were wanting to transform their large property into a stunning outdoor retreat where they could entertain family and friends. Though they had an idea for what they wanted to see, the project was out of their scope to do alone. They entrusted us with the task of completing the transformation.
Turning a large property into a welcoming destination.
The initial plan was to expand the back patio and add an outdoor kitchen and dining area. After our initial consultation, our clients were pleased to discover that their budget would allow them to add several other features to their list. But first, we needed to tackle a few challenges.
Prior to installing the patio, a 90 feet long retaining wall needed to be built to navigate a 4 feet dropoff between the existing patio and main lawn. Numerous underground utilities also needed to be carefully navigated during the process. An extensive drainage network was installed to facilitate proper flow from both roof run-off and site drainage. This allowed us to create an impressive 125 feet stream with a waterfall feature, bringing wonderful ambiance throughout the entire yard. By adding bridges over the stream we were able to seamlessly tie the pool and patio spaces together. Now guests can fully enjoy the full potential of this property while never feeling too far from the party.
The centerpiece of the landscape is a silvermist flagstone back patio, spanning over 2500 square feet. Here we were able to install a brand new outdoor kitchen, including BBQ and smoker, and a gorgeous stone fire pit built right into the patio.

Before, our clients looked out the window at a large, but mostly unused, property. Today they have plenty of room for family fun and entertaining friends. Whether sharing a meal outside, enjoying an evening fire, or taking a quiet walk along the stream, it’s all possible right in their own backyard.
